Using as a Primer

Want to have an even more flawless skin finish? Using a tinted moisturizer helps even out and hide acne better, it also moisturizes and gives you SPF. If you're not using a tinted moisturizer, you can always mix your bronzer with the regular moisturizer to give the same effect. 

 TIP: Just like paint put the moisturizer on a clean flat surface, then dip your brush into it in circular motions so that it spreads towards the tips of the brush. When you apply it on your face make sure you do it in a circular motion so it does not look thick in one spot. You can also use it to define cheek bones by swaying the brush to the curves of your face you wish,

Duck, Duck, WHORE?

 

As the summer is closing and almost time for yet another rigorous year of the college life, last minute bashes are raging in numbers. I have attended quite enough of them to stay in last night with a couple friends. I had a couple of my guy friends there along with two of my closest girlfriends and we were lightly drinking. The movie was playing and the conversations jump around about how the summer was going to fun parties that were attended to the inside jokes about "that girl" or certain key people who were completely acting outrageous. Which leads to this post. Depending on how big your group of friends is, you usually see about the same people at most of these parties and it being the summer most everyone that attended your same highschool is back into town. At the start of the night, it usually goes smoothly, the same old "Hey, how have you been?" leading to the routine talk about how college was and how life was going occurred. A couple shots of tequila later. True personalities busts out and the sluts expose themselves through their inhebriated state. Which ties back to the conversation I had with my friends last night, "That girl" is a reference to "That slut", usually or in prime example for this case a girl that everyone knew, but no one really wants to say their name out loud. The same innocent, sweet girl that you once played "Duck, Duck, Goose" with is the same slut hopping on the laps of everyone (in majority guys) and grinding on them like a whore on a mechanical bull. Their night leading to only lord knows what, but I'm sure we can all guess. Then you attend a party the following night seeing "That GIRL" and that game of Duck (a person you know) and Goose (a stranger) becomes a game of Duck, Duck, WHORE. This isn't just aimed at the ladies, guys you don't want to be known as "That Guy" either. "That Guy" is in complete equivalence to "That Girl" in the gay world. Oh and guess what, you know when people are either pointing at you to their friends as they laugh or it gets strangely quiter when you enter the room only means one thing, they were talking about how shameful you are. Do people really think that you are older just because you dress skimpier? That acting sexier (which is probably sluttier) than reserved makes people think that you've grown? The answer to this is both... YES and NO.  No, because behaving like an intolerable slut is not the absence of immaturity, just the absence of functioning brain cells. Yes, that you did grow up...to be a slut? I know this was a really harsh post, but isn't the ugly truth harsh.

Defining for a Prominent Nose

Defining your nose helps in enhancing your beauty. Having a flat nose isn't very attractive. Having a define nose accentuate facial strength and gives a very European look. 

Tip: Using your bronzer, grab your makeup brush and lightly outline the sides of your nose. Start at the ridge where your nose meets your forehead and all the way down to the round part of the front of your nose. Then repeat it on the other side.

Hormones? or Whore, Moans?

Alas, today I finally got a day off! Hallelujah! I haven't had time to hangout with my good friend Dean in a while, so I decided to call him up and asked him if he was interested in grabbing coffee. We met up at the local starbucks and I grabbed my usual double white chocolate mocha. Sitting at the outside table, we struck up the usual conversation between two friends about life, love, friends, and work. At this very moment, I am casually dating two very stable guys. While Dean was once again on the onslaught of the occassional sexual smackdown known to the gays as hooking up. Don't get me wrong Dean is quite a catch, however settling down even for a small lapse of time hasn't exactly been his thing. Being the sensual sexy social Seattle stud, he's not exactly what is opt to ever having to settle. We're good friends and he knows well of the fact that I am the LTR type. I know we are two completely different beings in the social dating war. Although it maybe completely pointless, I still try to probe him to at least consider the fact of bringing a guy I recognize whenever we see each other on social gatherings. As we talked from his relationship statuses to mine to the latest gossip of our other friends', it leads me to question why the gays or men in general (if not some non-menopausal women also aka SLUTS) enjoy the heat of a bed so often? Is it their hormones that encourages them to get into those "supposed" unexpected late night social encounters known as sex that often leads to snobbery, turning the opposite way the next time they see them, and then, the usage of that wonderful line in front of friends... "I had sex with that guy? What the fuck was I thinking?" Yes, that was quite a mouthful, but then again those one sided situations often are. Or is it their inner WHORE that's desperately dying to be touched, to be stroked, to be accomodated, to MOAN in the pressence of the heat of pleasure that gets them into trouble? Whether is one way or the other, theres one sense of advice if you are going under these type of things... be discrete because however way a person looks at it and depending when it finally hits you that you want a stable relationship...no one really wants to be with someone who has fucked around with their friends.

Outlining Your Face

A recently featured makeup trick to a flawless finish in Cosmopolitan that I personally found remarkable. Just like in art when colors are bordered or outlined by a darker color, it makes the picture and the colors pop out more. This should help in bringing out your bone structure better and for my gay boys it should outline your face shape giving it more definition. 

Trick: Put your makeup on like you usually do. Then put on tinted moisturizer on the outlines of your face mixed with a tiny bit darker than your skin tone Bronzer. Go around the whole face also around the jawbone and the chin. Remember just a bit darker like a shade, don't go 3 or 4 shades darker. You want to still make it look natural. After the outlining, go ahead and use a finishing powder so that your makeup holds and has a beautiful finish.
